There will be two additional sailings of MV Julia on Monday 19th April starting with Cork to Swansea leaving at 9.00 a.m. (Check in opens at 06.30 a.m. and closes at 08.15 a.m.) and the return sailing will be on Monday night leaving Swansea at 21.00. These additional sailings are already booking heavily to facilitate those who need to get to and from the UK whilst flights are still grounded. The cost of a crossing per foot passenger is a very reasonable 42. Bookings for all crossings may be made online at www.fastnetline.com or by ringing: Ireland: 00 353 21 437 8892 Sunday 18th April 9 a.m. 5 p.m ; Mon. Fri. 9 a.m. 5.30 p.m. UK: 0844 5768831 Sunday 18th April 9 a.m. 6 p.m.; Mon Thurs. 8 a.m. 8 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. 7 p.m. There are direct trains from Swansea to London Paddington from Stg. £26 one way with a travel time of just over three hours. Any further additional sailings outside of those scheduled will be announced as soon as a decision is made. Management of Fastnet Line are reviewing the situation hourly and have opened the booking office specially over the weekend to deal with the increased demand. It is expected that heavier volumes of traffic will be experienced throughout this week on all sailings. Paul OBrien General Manager West Cork Tourism Co-op
