The annual survey of the Dún an Óir 11 is scheduled for Monday 11 April next and the Cailín Óir will be substituted as the relief ferry. It is anticipated that the survey will take from 7 to 10 days. If the weather forecast is poor and likely to prevent painting the start date may be put back some days in order to reduce the period of the relief ferry. The crane on the pier in Cape Clear will be decommissioned from that date and customers are asked as far as is reasonably possible to defer heavy cargo until the Dún an Óir 11 is back in service. Séamus Ó Drisceoil Secretary.
