The relief ferry Dún Aengus will come into service on Tuesday 8 November on the 5.30 pm sailing from Baltimore until, all going well, the 5.30 pm sailing on Friday. This is to carry out some essential maintenance/improvements before the coming winter season and these include the installation of heaters in the passenger saloon to ensure the comfort of passengers during cold weather. These works have been planned since the end of September but we were waiting for a period of calm weather, again in the interests of passenger comfort.
