Sunday 27 October 2013 saw the arrival of a special rarity on Cape Clear island, a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, its a very small bird, the North American version of our Goldcrest. Its the first one to be recorded for Britain and Ireland. It was first seen in Cottor's Garden.
