Lunchtime Sunday 3 November saw an appropriate neighborly tribute being paid to soon to depart Richard and Janet when a large group of fellow islanders arrived together at the hostel, armed with suitable refreshments to bid a heartfelt 'go raibh mile maith agaibh' and best wishes for the future for the soon to depart couple. Speech making was thankfully brief, all comments made were interlaced with lashings of laughter and humor and all wished the departing couple success and happiness wherever the settle down in the future and hope that they will return and see us again in the future. All paid tribute to the many improvements made to the hostel during their tenure and look forward to seeing the new lessee, Nial Ó Riagáin build on their excellent track record.We thank Lindy for this picture taken during the event.
