We show some photos taken of the North pier and Bulls Nose recently showing the disappearing structure. The materials excavated are being used to construct a breakwater on the sea ward side of the pier. Note the temporary metal bands installed to secure the structure while works are ongoing. At the time of the photo there were three excavators on site with another one on the way.
