“Water has been restored to the entire Island at approximately 7.00 -8.00 a.m. each day since Wednesday 20th August 2014 with shut off between 7.00 – 9.00 pm each day. This will be reviewed on a constant basis with a view to extending supply times. IW/CCC would encourage everybody to be extra vigilant and conservative in their water usage. IW/CCC wish to state that due to the service being restored for longer periods the bulk tanker was removed from the island on Thursday 21st August 2014. The previously supplied 1000 litre (I.B.C’s) should no longer be used as there is adequate  service times to allow for storage tanks to fill at each premises. Works are ongoing in resolving the water shortages on a permanent basis.”
