The curious might like to know that the family website of  Seosamh Ó Drisceoil has been updated and that this now includes some family history,  tales and anecdotes, some parts of which relate to Cape Clear Island.Seosamh, father of  Séamus, Fachtna,  Colmán, Deaglán and Bríd, all of whom have spent some time on the Island was born in Dunbeacon, previously described as East Schull and was motived to become proficient in Irish by hearing similar aged boys from Cape Clear at Schull regattas in the early 1930's.
