Readers will be interested to hear that the two deck chairs known to have come from the Lusitania which are on public display were both washed up on Cape Clear Island. The chair in the Island Heritage Centre was donated by PT Ó Drisceoil but the chair in the Liverpool Maritime Museum also has an Island connection as the enclosed link shows. Family and Island residents have identified three people in the Liverpool Museum photo, they are Joe 'O Driscoll, his wife Catherine ( Katie) Cottor, and seated their nice Kathleen Lynch. The house was later inherited by Kathleen who lived there form many years with her husband Bernie Lynch. See here
