We congratulate Comharchumann Chléire Teo on the delivery today of its new manitou part funded by Údaras na Gaeltachta. This is clearly needed as the old machine which has done sterling service delivering all kinds of loads the length and breath of the Island has clearly seen better days. This is a very versatile machine, also used for construction and indeed at times has provided essential back up to the ferry service. Services like this are largely taken for granted but would be most sorely missed if they became unavailable. We wish safe driving to driver Seán Ó Drisceoil for many years to come.
