The annual open air Mass in the historic and scenic graveyard at North Harbour Cape Clear, better known in Irish as Trá Ciarán ( St Ciarans Strand) after the Islands Patron Saint, takes place on Sunday July 5 next starting at 3.15 pm. The Celebrant will be Fr Peter Quelly and those with relatives buried here, or simply with departed loved ones to remember are cordially invited. Following the Mass the will be open air music in North Harbour. Ferries depart Baltimore at 11am and 2pm and from Schull at 12 noon. Weather permitting there will be a trip around the Fastnet Rock departing the Island at 1pm at a reduced fare of €8.
