All interested active Island farmers are invited to a meeting on Thursday 4 February 2016 at 2.30 pm in Club Cléire with Agronomists commissioned to undertake various studies relating to the proposed distillery project and in particular the use of the spent grain as animal feed and the waste from the treated water to be used as a fertiliser. In cooperation with the farming community the project offers the potential to improve the viability of farming on the Island by reducing the cost of inputs for island farmers as well as possible expansion.
