The finishing touches to the new wall in North Harbour were only hours old when the 'elves' turned up to plant these wall flowers. They should make for a fine display this Summer. These gestures are better than fine speeches or flowery compliments to show how the works carried out in North Harbour are appreciated. They will nicely compliment the marigolds planted above, hopefully all will flourish.
Just found out that the flowers are from seeds collected from flowers growing on the sea wall outside the Bird Obs. before the works began. What wonderful foresight, thoughtfulness and initiative. Go raibh maith agat.
