Islanders and lucky visitors can expect a great St Ciaráns weekend this year with various events lined up. The traditional blessing of the boats will take place on Saturday 4th at 3.30pm followed by prayers at the grotto. Jack Healy performs the stories of Éamon Kelly in the Club from 8 to 10pm on Saturday 4th for those aged 13 upwards followed by a traditional session with local musicians. On Sunday, Mass takes place as normal at 10 am and at 3pm CARA are arranging a buffet for everyone in the Club, only €5 adults and €3 children. Following this at 5.30 pm the local musicians will perform again. Kindly inform Ann Regan if you wish to attend the buffet.
